Know an organization that
keeps Colorado strong?

Who can nominate

Anyone can put an organization forward — the people who run it, the people it serves, or a neighbour who sees its work up close. You do not need to be connected to the organization to nominate it.

Who is eligible

KCP is open to Colorado organizations that demonstrate community impact. We’re especially looking for organizations whose operations can be affected by planned or unplanned power outages, meaning they rely on electricity to continue their important work. Organizations do not need to be nonprofit organizations.

  • Nonprofit organizations

  • Community organizations

  • Educational organizations

  • Public service organizations

  • Other small businesses
    that demonstrate meaningful community impact
