Nominations Open
December 1
Nominations open for Colorado organizations making a meaningful impact in their communities.
Review & Site Surveys
Rolling
Nominations are reviewed as they arrive, and site surveys are scheduled with promising organizations.
Nominations Close
February 28
The nomination window closes. Anything submitted after this date is held for the following year.
Internal Review
March
The Photon Brothers team narrows the field to a top ten.
Advisory Panel
March
An advisory panel reviews the top ten and selects three finalists.
Recipient Selection
April 1
One organization is selected as the annual Keep Colorado Powered recipient.
Installation
June – July
Photon Brothers designs, permits and installs the donated battery backup system.
Celebration
August
The community comes together to recognize the recipient and their impact.
